Gospel Reading today: Luke 24:35-48
"But they were startled and frightened, and supposed that they saw a spirit". Luke 24:37
My children are up extra early this morning so I can't write much. I am just reminded through meditating on the sorrowful mysteries this morning (Jesus' passion) and then reading Luke of how awe inspiring Jesus' death and ressurrection was. To know that even His disciples that knew Him so well were scared when they saw Him ressurrected, reminds me of how we are all maybe a little scared of death. We can not even begin to know God's perfect plan for us when we die....it is beyond our comprehension. Jesus' death and ressurection makes God's perfect plan come to fruition. For because of His death, we get to live forever in Paradise!
